Day-wise Journey

Day 1 – Arrival & Transfer to Thimphu

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport and complete immigration formalities at Phuentsholing. A scenic 10–11 hour drive through valleys and mountain roads takes you to Bhutan’s capital, Thimphu. En route, enjoy a hearty lunch at Chukha. Check in and spend the evening at leisure.

Day 2 – Explore Thimphu

Discover the highlights of Bhutan’s charming capital:

• Buddha Dordenma – a towering golden statue overlooking the valley.
• Motithang Takin Preserve – home to Bhutan’s unique national animal, the Takin.
• Simply Bhutan – a living museum of culture and tradition.
• Handicraft Market – perfect for authentic souvenirs.

Day 3 – Thimphu to Paro (Approx. 2 hrs)

A short drive brings you to Paro. Along the way:

• Visit the riverside Tachogang Lhakhang.
• Explore Taa Dzong (National Museum).
• Walk through the majestic Paro Rinpung Dzong.
• Wander the vibrant streets of Paro Town.

Day 4 – Sacred Paro Excursion

• Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang), perched high on a cliff.
• Visit Kichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan.
• (Optional) Relax with a rejuvenating Traditional Hot Stone Bath (extra cost).

Day 5 – Paro to Phuentsholing (Approx. 6 hrs)

Journey back to Phuentsholing. If time permits, visit:

• Zangto Pelri Lhakhang
• Rinchending Gompa

Day 6 – Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Bagdogra Airport for your return journey, carrying with you the blessings, beauty, and memories of Bhutan.
